Sky Sports unveils Ireland’s exclusive Saturday 3pm Premier League fixtures for April

Sky Sports has added 5 live Saturday 3pm Premier League matches to its schedule for April – including second-placed Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to Burnley – only for customers in Ireland.

These fixtures are in addition to a further 19 live Premier League matches which will be shown on Sky Sports over the forthcoming months as the battle for the title, the top four and the race for survival unfold.

Sky Sports has already shown thirteen head-to-heads between the teams currently making up the top six and will show another three throughout April. As the race for a top four finish intensifies Sky Sports will also be the only place to see Arsenal and Liverpool again this season.

This is set to be one of the closest run-ins at both ends of the table and Sky Sports will be there the whole way, starting with three huge games over the first weekend of April. Liverpool and Everton meet in the Merseyside derby on Saturday lunchtime. Super Sunday sees a crunch game to avoid the drop between Swansea and Middlesbrough and that’s followed by two of the top four contenders, Arsenal and Man City at the Emirates.

Chelsea are currently in pole position to win the league but will be fully aware of the chasing pack. They visit Old Trafford on Sunday 16 April in a game that sees Jose Mourinho up against his former club. In another top four head-to-head, Sky Sports viewers can look forward to the north London derby from White Hart Lane on 30 April.

Sky Sports Head of Football, Gary Hughes said: “Sky Sports is the place to see the remaining big fixtures as the Premier League heads towards its dramatic conclusion. There is so much still to play for at both ends of the table and we will be there every step of the way.”

The additional Saturday 3pm kick-offs exclusively for Sky Sports customers in Ireland across April include Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur (1 April), Stoke v Liverpool (8 April), Crystal Palace v Leicester (15 April), West Ham v Everton (22 April) and Middlesborough v Man City (29 April).

Sky Sports has added 18 more Premier League matches in April and will show 18 Premier League teams in a massive month of live action. Goals and highlights from these and all 380 Premier League matches can also be accessed via the Sky Sports Football Score Centre app.
